The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring (16701 Norwood Rd) was recently ranked as one of the ten best aerial adventure parks in the US by USA Today.
Per Adventure Park: “On 6/5/24, USA Today announced The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring was voted the #1 Adventure Park in North America, finishing second overall behind “Botanical
World Adventures” in Hawaii. Originally nominated by a panel of industry experts and editors at USA Today, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring joined 20+ other Adventure Parks as candidates for the “10Best” competition.

Over the last two years, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has been voted the #1 Amusement Park & Climbing Destination in the DMV by Washington Parent Magazine, received a recognition from Gov. Wes Moore, was named the “Olney Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year 2023”, and became the fourth park of its kind in the U.S. and the first in Maryland to complete the Association for Challenge Course Technology Accreditation program.
