Dawson’s Market at 225 N. Washington St. in Rockville Town Square will permanently close on Sunday, June 30, after twelve years in business.
The location is currently offering up to 50% off of its remaining inventory (see flyer below for full details).
The specialty grocery store emphasized organic products and offered a wide selection of local produce, gourmet cheeses, fresh baked bread, meat, seafood, beer, and wine. Additionally, the store featured a café/juice bar, salad bar, and hot/prepared food bar.
While the Rockville location is closing,Dawson’s Market has announced it will be partnering with the Universities at Shady Grove to provide catering services and will manage the campus’s cafeteria and coffee bar starting this summer.
The contents of the store, including refrigeration and kitchen equipment, tables, chairs, fixtures, and more, are also currently up for auction at Proxibid.com, with a closing date of July 2.
