Five Montgomery County restaurants have been honored in Wine Spectator’s 2024 Restaurant Awards.
According to the magazine, “Wine Spectator‘s Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. To qualify for an award, a wine list must present complete, accurate information, including vintages and appellations for all selections. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, and the overall presentation of the list is also considered. Lists that meet these requirements are judged for one of our three awards.”
Montgomery County restaurants to receive an Award of Excellence were:
- The Capital Grill (5310 Western Ave, Chevy Chase)
- Fogo de Chão (11600 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda)
- Locavino (8519 Fenton St, Silver Spring)
- Morton’s Steakhouse (7400 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda)
- Seasons 52 (11414 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda)
