Montgomery County Police have released additional information regarding a fatal collision on Old Hundred Road and Thurston Road in Dickerson that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Dickerson.
According to Montgomery County Police, “At approximately 1:51 p.m., 5th District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location for the report of a collision between a motorcycle and a combine harvester. The operator the motorcycle, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the combine harvester remained at the scene.
This is an active and ongoing investigation, and CRU detectives are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call (240) 773-6620. A formal news release will be distributed once more information becomes available, including the name of the decedent, following proper notification of next of kin.”
