Update: The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has confirmed that the body of Fawzan Hassan, a 6-year-old boy who went missing on Saturday, July 27, has been recovered from a pond in Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 6-year-old Gaithersburg boy.
Hassan was last seen at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Ave., in Gaithersburg at 3 p.m. He is 3-feet tall, 42 lbs., black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Green shirt, blue jeans, white and silver sneakers.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Fawzan Hassan is asked to call Montgomery County Police Non-Emergency (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line).
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) are assisting police by searching the ponds at Bohrer Park.
