The Germantown National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 6, from 6-8pm at Montgomery College (20200 Observation Dr) in Germantown and Ride On will be offering free shuttle service to and from the event.
Per the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDIT): “Ride On buses are scheduled to provide continuous shuttle service from four pickup points to Montgomery College Germantown for a National Night Out event. Shuttle buses will begin loading at 5:30 p.m. and will continue running until 8:30 p.m.
The four pick-up locations are listed below:
- Germantown Park Community Center: 18400 Cinnamon Drive, Germantown
- Hamptons: 19757 Crystal Rock Drive, Germantown
- Middlebrook Gardens: 19515 Frederick Road, Germantown
- Germantown Transit Center: 19843 Crystal Rock Drive, Germantown
Ride On bus fare is only $1 and monthly passes are $22.50 using SmarTrip, cash, or tokens. Seniors age 65 or older, persons with disabilities and youth ages 18 and under all ride free using specialized SmarTrip cards.
The Ride On Trip Planner app is a free regional public transportation planner that will find your fastest route.
