Taco De Birria by Rice Bar is now open at 14 Bureau Dr in the Diamond Square shopping center in Gaithersburg. The restaurant is located in the space previously occupied by Rooh Bistro, which opened and closed in 2020.
Menu items include tacos, tostadas, burritos, quesadillas, soups, and ice cream.
Birria tacos are traditionally made with meat that has been slow-cooked or braised and are served with a side of the cooking broth, known as “consomé,” for dipping.
Taco De Birria currently has an additional location at 1300 2nd St in Washington, DC.
