Our Neighborhood Deli, set to open in late September or early October, is promising to bring the authentic flavors of a classic New York deli to 240 Main St. in Gaithersburg.
The deli, owned by a husband-and-wife team who relocated to the area three years ago, aims to fill the void they noticed since leaving their native New York.
The menu will feature a wide range of offerings, including create-your-own salads, freshly made sandwiches, NY-style hot dogs, breakfast sandwiches, and knishes. Customers will also be able to enjoy freshly baked hero bread, authentic New York bagels, and a variety of sweet treats such as muffins, cookies, cake slices, and soft serve ice cream. They will also serve Jamaican patties with cocoa bread, adding a unique twist to the deli’s offerings.
The restaurant is located in the space that was home to Kentlands Nutrition for the past 15 years.
