Montgomery County Native Featured on Season 2 of Fox’s Hit Game Show “The Floor”

“The Floor,” hosted by Rob Lowe, was Fox’s top game show of the 2023 season, creating viral moments and even earning a parody on Saturday Night Live. Now, the game show is back for Season 2, and one of its contestants hails from Montgomery County, MD.

Maureen Zeufack, a Rockville native now residing in Potomac, is among the contestants. A graduate of Richard Montgomery High School’s class of 2019, Maureen recently flew to Ireland to film the show, which airs on Wednesday 10/9 on Fox and streams the following day on Hulu.

About the Show: “Contestants must stand their ground on a massive, interactive LED game floor of squares, each representing a different trivia category. The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent’s category. The winner takes over the loser’s square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game. The winner must then choose whether to go on the offensive to dominate more of the board or let The Floor choose a new challenger. The contestant who gains full control over The Floor takes home a life-changing grand prize.”
