According to the Maryland Lottery, a $1,000,000-winning ticket that was purchased last week at the Check Cash Depot at 8 16th Avenue in Brooklyn Park, MD remains unclaimed as of Monday, October 21.
The numbers drawn were 22, 34, 44, 54, 62 with a Mega Ball of 03. The player matched the first five balls, but not the Mega Ball for a second-tier win. The current estimated jackpot for Mega Millions is $205,000,000, with the next drawing taking place on Tuesday, October 22.
The two winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prizes. Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of winning tickets immediately and keep those tickets secure until arrangements to claim have been made. Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at the cashier window of any of the six casinos in Maryland. More information on claiming prizes at other levels is available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website.
