Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision near Briggs Chaney Road and Legends Oaks Drive in Fairland on Thursday morning where a vehicle veered off the road into the woods, striking a tree and a highway worker.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS, the driver fled the scene, and one adult was transported with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Some lanes remain blocked. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
