Mayan Monkey Brewing Co. has opened at 227 E. Diamond Ave, in the former location of Growlers and Summit Station Brewery. While the brewery awaits its state license to brew on-site, it is offering a selection of beers from Flying Dog, Modelo, and Pacifico.
The new concept comes from the team behind local favorites Taco Bar El Guero (Rio area), Ixtapalapa (Gaithersburg), and La Gula Mexicana (Germantown). Mayan Monkey Brewing Co. features a menu blending Mexican and American flavors, with options like cheese curds, pretzels, burgers, wings, and tacos. The space also offers live music in the upstairs area and full-service dining downstairs.

Mayan Monkey is open Monday – Thursday: 11am – 10pm and Friday & Saturday: 11am – 12am.
