Montgomery County Police 4th District Commander David Smith announced on Twitter/X that the 4D Community Action Team conducted a traffic stop in Aspen Hill on Tuesday evening, resulting in the recovery of an unlawfully possessed firearm and an arrest.
Smith wrote, “This evening, the 4th District Community Action Team was doing focused work in the Aspen Hill community and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. That stop yielded the recovery of the gun in the photo below, which was not lawfully possessed. Arrest made. Gun recovered.”
