Duke’s Grocery, a DC-based, East London-inspired gastropub, will be opening its new Potomac location in the near future, according to commercial real estate company JLL.
Duke’s Grocery will be located at 10128 River Road in the Potomac Village shopping center, in the space previously occupied by Lock 72 Kitchen & Bar, which closed in October 2023.
“As a resident of Potomac, I am particularly enthusiastic about the addition of these two new restaurants,” stated Andy Corno, Managing Director, JLL. “This marks a significant step in the evolution of this cherished community hub. Potomac Place is the heart and soul of our neighborhood, and while we have fond memories of the restaurants that previously occupied these spaces, we eagerly anticipate this next chapter with an opportunity to support these new, homegrown restaurants. We warmly welcome Duke’s Grocery, and a brand new concept from the founders of Cava here.”
According to Duke’s, “Guests at the Potomac location can expect the menu to include Duke’s Grocery staples such as massive sarnies (sandwiches), seasonal bevvies (cocktails), hearty salads, local beers, and a robust wine list alongside crowd favourites such as the Proper Burger®, white truffle mac and cheese, fish and chips, and full English breakfasts during brunch.
