Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 12200blk of Cherry Hill Rd. in Calverton for the report of a commercial building fire at approximately 4am on Tuesday, November 12.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the incident occurred at the DARCARS Lexus auto repair and service building. The fire originated in a service bay, likely due to an electronic component mounted on the wall. Damage is estimated at around $20,000, and no injuries were reported.
