Gaithersburg will soon welcome Upcycled, a unique, family-run business opening at 18959 Bonanza Way on January 1, 2025. This “hybrid concept” combines a vintage and pre-loved fashion store with a cozy coffee shop offering a variety of lattes, both iced and hot.
According to Upcycled, the space is designed to be a community hub where visitors can browse unique finds, enjoy coffee, play table games, and relax in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Upcycle plans to host regular events and give back to the community by supporting local youth mental health awareness programs. A portion of the store’s proceeds will go toward these initiatives, along with events dedicated to raising awareness and support.
The idea for Upcycled stemmed from the owners’ love of coffee, fashion, and their desire to create a space that fosters connection and community. As a Gaithersburg-based family, they aim to offer something different from traditional retail or coffee shop chains, focusing on inclusivity and meaningful contributions to the neighborhood.
