Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has announced the appointment of Jason Dyer as Senior General Manager, Catherine Brady as Marketing Director, and Joe Damaia as Facilities Director at Westfield Montgomery, with the new team expected to contribute to the center’s operations and customer experience.
Per the news release: “Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) announces the appointment of three new key members to the management team at Westfield Montgomery: Senior General Manager Jason Dyer, Marketing Director Catherine Brady, and Facilities Director Joe Damaia. These strategic new hires will help elevate the experience at the center and enhance the customer journey.

Heil continued, “Jason’s more than 20 years of experience in retail and seven years in property management brings a wealth of organizational expertise and business acumen to the center and make him exceptionally skilled in the company’s operations and strategic vision. Catherine’s vision and passion can turn spaces into energetic, flourishing areas for the community; and we are so lucky to have Joe on board with his over thirty years of experience in facilities, mechanical systems and leadership, including the last 17 years dedicated to delivering direction, support, and services for residential and commercial facilities.”
Jason Dyer has a proven track record of working with prestigious brands such as Victorinox, Sears, PAPYRUS, and GAP, across both national and international markets. He began his career with URW in 2017 as an Assistant General Manager at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ. In 2018, he transitioned westward, taking on roles at Westfield Santa Anita in Los Angeles, as well as the General Manager position at Westfield Southcenter in Seattle and Westfield Fashion Square in Los Angeles. His journey continued as the Senior General Manager at the former Westfield San Francisco Centre, and now, as the Senior General Manager at Westfield Montgomery. Jason is dedicated to crafting and delivering memorable, customer experiences that foster loyalty and repeat engagement.
Catherine Brady is a seasoned professional with more than seven years of experience in managing mixed-use centers and property development. She quickly advanced from a Marketing Associate at the former Westfield Annapolis to Director of Marketing and Business Development at Annapolis Town Center, where she developed comprehensive marketing strategies and managed short-term leasing. A passionate advocate for community engagement and customer service, Catherine is a member of the ICSC Next Gen DMV Committee. In 2023, she earned a Gold MAXI Award from ICSC and was a finalist for another, reflecting her impactful contributions to driving sales, traffic and growth for her centers while integrating non-profit partnerships to benefit the greater community.
Joe Damaia has over 30 years of experience in mechanical and facilities operations. He served as a Facilities Manager at Montgomery County Public Schools for more than 14 years. Joe holds several professional licenses, including Boiler Engineer; 4th Grade Building Engineers; HVACR Masters License in MD, VA, D.C; Maryland State Master Gas Fitter; WSSC Master Gas Fitter; and Universal CFC Refrigeration Licenses.
