The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has extended its contract with Sandy Spring Friends School for several decades, ensuring its operations will continue at the current location, where it has served as a popular ropes course and zipline destination since 2010.
Per The Adventure Park: “After 14 years of successful operation, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has signed a multi-decade contract extension with Sandy Spring Friends School, ensuring the country’s largest ropes course & zipline park will remain in its current location for the foreseeable future.
Founded in 2010, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring began as an innovative fundraising project for Sandy Spring Friends School and has grown into a nationally recognized location for outdoor recreation and Adventure.
The Adventure Park has been named the “Best Amusement Park” in the DMV by Washington Parent Magazine for 3 consecutive years in addition to being voted the #1 Adventure Park in the continental US by USA Today readers.
“Our unique partnership with Sandy Spring Friends School has allowed us to grow into an industry leader and I can’t imagine calling anywhere else home” said John Hines, Owner of The Adventure Park. “Knowing our future is secured allows us to continue to improve the park in the hopes of providing unforgettable experiences for years to come.
