Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports and famous for his “One Bite” pizza reviews, recently visited Frank’s Pizza & Pasta at 6620 Belair Rd in Baltimore to sample their offerings.
Known for his 1-10 rating system, Dave scored Frank’s New York-style cheese pizza an impressive 8.3.
Frank’s opened in 1985 and was recognized as Baltimore’s Best Pizza in 2023 and 2024 by Baltimore Magazine and The Baltimore Sun. Its menu includes New York and Detroit-style pizzas, pastas, calzones, stromboli, and subs. In addition to the pizza review, Dave gave a “bonus” rating for the cheesesteak, awarding it a stellar 9.0.
