A free virtual job fair for job seekers aged 50 and older, co-sponsored by Montgomery County Government and the Jewish Council for the Aging, will be held on Tuesday, January 21, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, featuring workshops, employer presentations, and live Q&A sessions.
Per the news release: “Job seekers 50-and-older could benefit from a free virtual job fair from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, that will be designed specifically for them. Age-friendly employers are also being sought to participate in the event, which is being co-sponsored by Montgomery County Government and the Jewish Council for the Aging of Greater Washington (JCA). The event will start with two morning workshops created for people 50-and-older seeking new positions. From 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, guest speakers will include representatives from area employers with openings. They will answer (live) questions in Chat. When their allotted presentation and question-and-answer session is over, they will join Chat to answer additional questions. When they are in Chat, they respond directly to the person who asked the question.”
