Medium Rare first opened its doors in Washington, D.C.’s Cleveland Park neighborhood in 2011. Since then, the restaurant has expanded significantly, with locations across the country. Before its larger expansion, the Bethesda location at 4904 Fairmont Ave. became a staple for local fans. Known for its simplicity, Medium Rare’s menu features steak frites served with bread and a mixed green salad at a fixed price of $29.95.
In a statement promoting the Valentine’s Day offer, Medium Rare announced:
“Valentine’s Day is coming up, and love is in the air at Medium Rare! For MR fans, if you’re planning an engagement, consider doing it at any of our locations because you will receive free Medium Rare every anniversary for the rest of your life! Tag your significant other to give them that hint.”
