A collision closes several lanes of southbound I-270 after Germantown Rd on Wednesday, January 15.
Alert Montgomery issued the following at 9:40am: “Traffic incident closes several lanes on southbound I-270 after Germantown Rd (MD-118). Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.”
According to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Pete Piringer, the collision involved a single vehicle sliding off of the roadway. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
