The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is currently on the scene of a shooting in Silver Spring on Friday evening.
MCPD issued the following incident alert at 5:09pm: “MCPD is on scene of a shooting in the 1100 block of University Boulevard in Silver Spring. The scene is secure. More information will be released as it becomes available.”
