Wind Chills as Low as -5°F Expected in Montgomery County

A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Montgomery County from 12:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, due to anticipated high winds and freezing temperatures, with wind chills potentially dropping as low as -5°F.

The National Weather Service (NWS) warns that these conditions could lead to hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Residents are urged to dress in layers, wear hats and gloves, and bring pets and livestock indoors for their safety.
