Montgomery County is seeking nominations for the Unsung Sports Hero Award, recognizing individuals or organizations that enhance sports opportunities for underserved communities.
Eligible nominees include those involved in coaching, officiating, team management, field maintenance, transportation, equipment donations, or other efforts to improve sports participation. Winners will be honored at the Montgomery County Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in May 2025. The award is organized by the Montgomery County Sports Advisory Committee, which works to improve equitable access to sports.
