Carmen’s Italian Ice (1115 Nelson St, Rockville) will be celebrating National Ice Cream for Breakfast from 8 AM to 12 PM, offering frozen custard breakfast sandwiches. Neighbors Barista, which will be opening later this year in the Woodley Gardens shopping center, will also be set up in front of their store, serving a variety of coffee drinks, including seasonal lattes and black coffee. Carmen’s will also have limited quantities of Life Raft Treat’s viral “Not Fried Chicken” available. The Carmen’s location at 10309 Kensington Pkwy in Kensington will also feature specials.

The Charmery (8551 Connecticut Ave, Chevy Chase) is featuring a Catalog Coffee collaboration with espresso, honey, and cinnamon ice cream, along with specials like a Strawberry Banana Coconut Smoothie (vegan), Lemon Ricotta Pancake, and Cinnamon Toast ice cream with cinnamon toast pieces. Additional treats include a Cereal Bowl (five baby scoops), Donut Sundae (a scoop with toppings on a glazed donut), and a Cold Brew Shake made with Vent Coffee cold brew. “As the saying goes…dessert first! Keep your PJ’s on and come visit us early for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day! We will have breakfast inspired ice cream flavors and specials available at all of our shops starting at 10:00AM!”
