Chopathi Indian Kitchen at 18280 Contour Rd in the Montgomery Village Plaza in Gaithersburg has permanently closed.
The restaurant, known for serving “authentic Indian fast casual food made with fresh and quality ingredients,” reportedly closed in the later part of 2024.
Chopathi offered a variety of Indian-inspired wraps, bowls, tiffins, appetizers, biryanis, curries, desserts, and drinks, featuring options such as paneer, chicken, lamb, fish, shrimp, as well as vegetarian dishes.
Chopathi Indian Kitchen continues to operate locations in Hanover, MD, Ashburn, VA, and McLean, VA.
Montgomery Village Plaza is also home to America’s Best Wings, Crisp & Juicy, Dona Bessey Pupusas, and Mickey’s Chinese Restaurant.
