Update: Hangry Joe’s has reopened as of Saturday, February 22.
Hangry Joe’s at 19290 Montgomery Village Ave in the Montgomery Village Shopping Center has been closed for the past week.
Although the restaurant is still listed as open on Google, a “closed” sign has been posted on the front door covering the store’s hours of operation.
The Nashville-style hot chicken restaurant opened in September 2023 and is known for its signature hot chicken sandwiches, called the “Chicken Sando,” allowing guests to choose their spice level from Plain to Angry Hot.
The menu also features chicken fingers, chicken & waffles, wraps, nuggets, loaded fries, and salads, with sides including cider slaw, waffle fries, and fried okra.
Hangry Joe’s has additional locations in Wheaton, Rockville, and Germantown.
