Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a house fire on Haviland Mill Road in Brinklow (near the Howard County border) around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, with the home fully engulfed upon arrival.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, approximately 50 firefighters worked to control the blaze in the non-hydrant area, with no injuries reported and an estimated $1 million in damages. The cause remains under investigation.
