The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a homicide in the 2700 block of Fairdale Terrace in Silver Spring.
According to MCPD, On Saturday, March 8, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim in the parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The decedent will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to officially determine the cause and manner of death. This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
