Montgomery County Announces 2025 Women Making History Award Recipients

The Montgomery County Commission for Women and Montgomery Women have announced the recipients of the 2025 Women Making History Award, recognizing exceptional women for their contributions to the community and their professions. The honorees, who live or work in Montgomery County, will be highlighted on social media throughout March and formally celebrated at an invitation-only event in April.

Per the news release distributed Monday, March 10: “The Montgomery County Commission for Women, in partnership with Montgomery Women, is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Women Making History Award.

This prestigious award honors exceptional women in Montgomery County who have made significant contributions to their professions and communities. Through leadership, advocacy and dedication, these women continue to shape a more equitable and empowered future for all.

These women were nominated by their peers for their leadership, dedication and impact in areas such as civic engagement, professional excellence and social change. All nominees live or work in Montgomery County—a requirement for receiving this award.

In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Montgomery County Commission for Women and Montgomery Women will highlight each award recipient and their accomplishments on social media throughout March. The honorees will be formally celebrated at the invitation-only Women Making History Celebration in April.”
