Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a fully involved fire at an abandoned liquor store on Cherry Hill Road near Plum Orchard Drive in Calverton around midnight on March 18.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the cause remains under investigation, but the building, which still had power, showed signs of possible squatter use. Damage is estimated at $125,000, with no reported injuries.
