The Wiper Week initiative will provide free windshield wiper replacements and installation to promote road safety and visibility for drivers, passengers, bicyclists, and pedestrians.
The event, sponsored by Metro Motor and RainX, will take place from April 3 to April 5 at locations in Washington, D.C., Bethesda (Montgomery Mall), and Arlington, with motorists encouraged to register at www.wiperweek.org.

Thursday, April 3 from 10:00am to 3:00pm at DMV Inspection Station, 1001 Half St. SW, Washington, D.C. 20024

Friday, April 4 from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. at Westfield Montgomery, 7101 Democracy Blvd., Bethesda, MD

Saturday, April 5 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Metro Motor Arlington, 5618 Langston Blvd., Arlington, VA
According to the news release, “All car owners in the DMV are invited to take part. Wiper Week is led by auto repair sponsor Metro Motor, wipers are donated courtesy of product sponsor, RainX. Partners include Vision Zero, D.C. Families for Safe Streets, Washington Area Bicycle Association, and DMV Auto Alliance. This initiative is particularly important especially after this most recent harsh winter, where snow, ice, and salt have significantly degraded the functionality of our windshield wipers. With spring’s rainy season fast approaching, ensuring that wipers are in optimal condition is crucial for safe driving.”
