Update: Ruth Cruz Mejia has been located safe and unharmed.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Ruth Cruz Mejia, a missing 11-year-old from Montgomery Village.
Mejia was last seen on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at approximately 8 p.m., in the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Road in Montgomery Village. She is 4-feet, 11-inches tall, 100 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue sweater and black pants.
