The Adventure Park at 16701 Norwood Rd in Sandy Spring, MD, has been nominated for the 2025 USA Today “10Best” Aerial Adventure Parks for the second consecutive year, with the final rankings determined by public vote.
Per the news release: “On April 28, 2025, a panel of industry experts and editors at USA Today nominated The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring for the 2025 “10Best” Aerial Adventure Parks in the United States—for the second consecutive year. In the 2024 USA Today 10Best competition, The Adventure Park finished 2nd overall and earned the top spot among all parks in the continental U.S.
Over the past three years, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has received numerous accolades, including: ● Voted the #1 Amusement Park & Climbing Destination in the DMV by Washington Parent Magazine ● Recognition from Governor Wes Moore ● Named “Business of the Year” by the Olney Chamber of Commerce ● Became the first park in Maryland—and only the fourth in the nation—to earn accreditation from the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT)
The Adventure Park remains a family-owned and operated business and serves as a fundraiser for Sandy Spring Friends School. A significant portion of all revenue generated supports the school directly.
