The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad responded to a two-vehicle collision around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Connecticut Avenue and Beach Drive in Kensington.
According to the Rescue Squad, one vehicle was left on its side with a person trapped inside. Crews extricated the patient by cutting through the windshield; the individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and some lanes were temporarily blocked.
