UPDATE: Michael Christensen has been located safe and unharmed.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Michael Christensen, a missing 80-year-old from Virginia.
Christensen was last seen on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at approximately 11 a.m. near St. Elmo Avenue in Bethesda. He is 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 174 lbs. with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans and white/black sneakers. He may be driving a light green 2019 Toyota Prius bearing Virginia license plate TMJ3595.
