Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a house fire in the 11900 block of Roan Lane in Gaithersburg on Friday morning.
According to MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos, the fire originated at the rear of a townhouse, which extended to two adjacent townhomes. Seven adults, six children, and six pets have been displaced, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
We will provide an update if additional verified information becomes available.
