Wegmans is set to open its new Rockville location at Twinbrook Quarter on Wednesday, June 25. A delivery truck was seen at the site Monday afternoon, and the store is encouraging customers to download the Wegmans app ahead of opening day.
Located at 1590 Rockville Pike, the 80,000 square-foot store will employ approximately 400 people. “We are thrilled to become a part of this vibrant community,” said Rockville Store Manager Jamie Dominick. “Our hiring process is in full swing, and we are looking for driven individuals who share our passion for people and food.”
The store will feature a variety of departments, including prepared foods like sushi, pizza, salads, and sandwiches, as well as a full produce section and wide selections of seafood, meat, bakery, deli, and cheese items. Drive-through curbside lanes will support online grocery and Meals-To-Go orders.
Wegmans Rockville will be open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight and marks the company’s second Montgomery County location, following the Germantown store, which opened in 2013.
