The third annual RisuCon comic convention will be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The event will feature a vendor hall, cosplay contests, anime screenings, game tournaments, crafting workshops, and more.
According to the event, “RisuCon, a convention for people of all ages who love superheroes and anime. Families can enjoy dressing up, meeting their favorite celebrities, and participating in amazing panels and kid-friendly programming.” Special guests include artists John Watkins-Chow, Chris Flick, and Nick Davis.
RisuCon is the annual meeting of the Montgomery County Comic & Cosplay Club, a non-profit 501(c)7 membership organization.
