Community Rallies to Support Family of Motorcyclist Killed in Collision

The community is rallying around the family of Vincent Rizzo, a motorcyclist who died following a serious collision on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the intersection of Newport Mill Road and Veirs Mill Road in the Wheaton-Glenmont area.

According to a GoFundMe organized by his cousin, Imron “Goody” Srigatesook, Vincent was critically injured in the crash and succumbed to his injuries on June 20 at 11:24 a.m. He was 36 years old.

Vincent is remembered as a devoted son, brother, father, and partner. He leaves behind his elderly mother, older sister, 16-year-old child, 3-year-old niece, girlfriend, and her son. The fundraiser notes that Vincent was recently unemployed and uninsured at the time of the crash, leaving his family with significant medical and transportation expenses, including hospital transfers by ambulance and helicopter.

Srigatesook is coordinating funeral arrangements and says the family plans to hold a small ceremony at both a temple and a church. Donations are being accepted to help cover these expenses.
