In November, we reported that Yemeni coffee shop Haraz Coffee House would open its first Maryland location at Burtonsville Crossing (15701 Columbia Pike).
Haraz Coffee House has since announced it has signed agreements for a total of 12 locations in Maryland. In addition to the Burtonsville location, which is expected to open in September 2025, other Maryland locations slated to open this year include Perry Hall (8700 Cowenton Ave), targeting mid-to-late October, and Towson (101 York Rd), projected to open in December.
The menu at Haraz Coffee House includes drinks such as Harazi (coffee with Manofwar cardamom and cream), Adeni/Karak Chai (black tea with cream and Haraz spice), and espresso, along with pastries like milk cake and Istanbul cheesecake drizzled with Nutella.
Haraz currently operates franchise locations in several states, including California, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, New York, Texas, and Virginia, and reports having over 120 additional locations under development nationwide. We will share further updates as more specific Maryland store locations are announced.
