Rockville will host its free outdoor “Movies in the Parks” series on Thursdays from July 31 to August 21, featuring family-friendly films at different neighborhood parks starting at dusk.
Per the City of Rockville: “Mark your summer entertainment calendar for Rockville’s free outdoor Movies in the Parks, on the big screen at neighborhood parks throughout the city on Thursdays from July 31 to Aug. 21.
Bring chairs, blankets, food and nonalcoholic beverages and enjoy four family-friendly movies at four different neighborhood parks. Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) and are free.
The 2025 schedule is:
- The Emperor’s New Groove” (rated G) on July 31, at Fallsgrove Park, 700 Fallsgrove Drive.
- “Inside Out 2” (PG) on Aug. 7, at Montrose Park, 451 Congressional Lane.
- “The Wild Robot” (PG) on Aug. 14, at Isreal Park, 357 Frederick Ave.
- “IF” (PG) on Aug. 21, at Woodley Gardens Park, 900 Nelson St.
