Rockville government offices and most city facilities will be closed on Friday, July 4, for Independence Day, while the Swim and Fitness Center will close early, the Skate Park will remain open, and recycling and trash services will operate as usual.
Per the City of Rockville: “Rockville government will be closed Friday, July 4 for Independence Day. The following city facilities will be closed: City Hall; Taft Center; Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; the Rockville Senior Center; Croydon Creek Nature Center; the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and box office, which has temporarily relocated to the Civic Center Cottage; Glenview Mansion; and the Rockville Civic Center business office.
