Chipotle is set to open a new location in the Walnut Hill Shopping Center in Gaithersburg, behind the Bank of America. The addition comes as part of the center’s ongoing redevelopment, which has included the opening of ALDI last July and the completion of a large mural by Baltimore street artist Nether.
Other upcoming tenants at Walnut Hill include Concentra Urgent Care, Lightbridge Academy early education center, and Inspire Nail Bar. Sheetz will also open its second Gaithersburg store at 16529 S. Frederick Avenue, designed as the company’s smallest location to fit within the shopping center.
The redevelopment also ties into Montgomery County’s Bus Rapid Transit project, with a Flash/Rapid Bus transit center planned for the intersection of Route 355 and Westland Drive.
