UPDATE: Mattheus Pietro Costa has been located safe and unharmed.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mattheus Pietro Costa, a missing 14-year-old.
Costa was last seen on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the 1800 block of Cross Country Lane, Gaithersburg. He is 5-feet, 6-inches, 160 lbs., with red hair and brown eyes. He has a left ear piercing and a left cheekbone piercing. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shirt and white and black Adidas shoes
