Sprout will open its first location in the DMV at Bethesda Row on Friday, August 29.
Founded in Easton, Md. in 2016 by Emily and Ryan Groll, Sprout focuses on locally sourced, organic, and scratch-made foods. The new 740-square-foot location will be at 4926 Elm Street, between YogiTopi and Ideal Image, and near Heyday, Mamma Lucia, and PLANTA. Sprout also operates locations in Easton, St. Michaels, and two in Annapolis, including The Canteen at The Maryland State House.
The menu will include soups, artisan breads, spreads, overnight oat bowls, chia puddings, parfaits, muffins, acai bowls, smoothies, wraps, small plates, desserts, and entrees such as honey pot chicken, herb-crusted salmon, and turkey sloppy joes. The café will also serve espresso drinks and bottled beverages made in-house.
