School of Rock is opening a new location at the Talbott Center at 1043 Rockville Pike in Rockville, next to the Kielbasa Factory, aiming to “put the ROCK in Rockville.”
The company already operates two Montgomery County locations at 8634 Colesville Rd in Silver Spring and 12974 Middlebrook Rd in Germantown. According to its website, the Rockville location will offer lessons with expert instructors on guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocals across various genres. Students will learn through a combination of reading music, playing by ear, and performing together in bands, helping them build skills and confidence.
School of Rock students regularly perform at community events and local venues as part of their program. No opening date has been announced for the Rockville location.
