16-Year-Old Suspect Charged as Adult After Armed Robbery and Stabbing in Clarksburg

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) arrested a 16-year-old suspect following an armed robbery and stabbing on August 25, 2025, near the Clarksburg Premium Outlets, where a teenage victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

According to MCPD, “at approximately 8:50 p.m., 5th District officers responded for the report of a stabbing. The investigation revealed that two teenaged males were walking when an unidentified male suspect approached from behind and attempted to forcibly take one of the victim’s property. The victim and his friend fought back, at which time the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim before running from the scene

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second teen was not injured.

A search of the area was conducted with the assistance of drone operators. A short time later, officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest without incident. The suspect was identified as 16-year-old Alexis Alfaro from Silver Spring. Alfaro was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is awaiting a bond hearing.”
