UPDATE: Abebe Wolde has been located safe and unharmed.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Abebe Wolde, a missing 80-year-old.
Wolde was last seen at approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the 10000 block of Green Forest Drive, Silver Spring. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130 lbs., with gray and white pepper hair. He was last seen wearing a blue checkered long sleeve shirt, blue pants, brown dress shoes, prescription glasses, and a gold watch.
